We had a Boy Scout camping and fishing outing with a few hours dedicated to fishing. We spent some time trolling for Kokanee in the deep channel of the lake ad did fair on deep trolled Flashlites with Wedding Ring Trailers. Maggots with white corn proved the best bait. We got enough for the boys to taste fresh fish. We also trolled some spoons and Flatfish around the upper end of the lake. We picked up several fair Rainbows and released 4 small Dolly Varden. You can call them Bull Trout if you want, but I am from the Flathead area in Montana and there is a difference - these were 'Dollies'. This worked well for the Fishing Merit Badge as you have to catch, identify and release a species of a different kind that the one you catch, clean and cook. A great time but the water was very low and the snags were very bad.
