The weeds have been cut back somewhat, however there is still a large population of canadian geese that never leave the pond and DO leave unspeakable messes. I started fishing late (3:30pm) caught a couple of catfish off the dock and saw quite a few bass jumping during a short spring shower. Some of them looked nice sized. I will be back to fish this nice little spot.

tip: follow the trail in the woods over the bridge to the other side of the lake, there is a nice bench to put your gear on and a log in the water the bass love. Great spot now that the aquatic plants have been cut back and the water is higher.
