Windy and Chilly is the best way to describe this day. Went out from 10am until 2pm water temp was 44 degrees. Went looking for some cutthroats, trolled a fly, an egg sucking leech and caught and released a 10 inch cutt. Switched over to a black wooley bugger and caught and released a 10 inch kokaness. Lost a couple and missed a couple never did see them but I'm sure they were probably kokanee. A few folks were targeting the kokanee and doing quite well. Noticed on my fish finder the kokanee were schooling up from 8 feet to 30 feet. Wish I had brought my spinning rod. On a side note remember if targeting the cutts there is a 14 inch minimum length and you can only keep two.
