Went fishing from noon 'til dusk on Samish caught five big squawfish and five rather large perch. Those weren't the fish I was looking for--I was fishing for silvers. Lots of people boating and lots of fish in the lake--according to my fishfinder. The hard part was to tell which fish were what but it seemed that most of the fish were at the 25-30 foot level-I'm assuming that that is the thermocline but I'm not sure if this lake has much of one because of the wave action of the boaters and the wind.
