Okay, here is what is happening lately at BG Lake. Powerbait fishing has been slowing down, but there are alot of fish to be found in the swimming area. Most of the fish are cuttroats, but there are a few rainbow trout in there as well. The only way to fish for them is to use a water bobber and a fly, (prefferably a wolly bugger black), with about five to ten feet of leader. Here comes the important part. The fish are hanging in real shallow water about twenty feet from shore, so they spook easily. You have to cast above them and bring your fly slowly (and i mean slowly) back. Expect hits to be extremely light, not much more than a tightening of the line. Good Luck!
