Went out about 8am this morning with my dad. We took out our little two man boat. We used brown and glitter speckled crappie jigs about 4-5 feet below a bobber, we caught about 20-25 medium sized crappie (6-8 inches), a few bluegill and a couple of small bass (8-9 inches) When we found the crappie, we were catching on every cast. It was a great day on the lake and we brought home a bucketful of crappie.
( Just a little note: since my last report back in early June, I have caught probably 300 bluegill and about 50 crappie. If you have young kids or just like the excitement of catching bluegill this is a great place. Meal worms are like firecrackers out here when it comes to bluegill.)
