Arrived on the ice around 7:00am and fished the first narrow on the east-end, and nothing. Further up the lake towards the 2nd narrow on the west-end I stopped and fished with live worm and powerbait. Not a bite for 2 hours. A gentleman about 30 yards across from me clued me in on the fishing secret. With a dark purple jig, tipped with meal worm, I caught one 17" Rainbow and one 19" Rainbow within 1/2 hour. The secret is to fish the bottom about 6 reels up and slowly jig every 5 minutes or so. Also use a scent, but I can't tell exactly what that scent is because it would be no fun to give away all the secrets.
