My son Matt and I fished from 9:30am to noon. Worked the southeast side of the lake and had limited success. I did manage to get one in the three pound range. Also caught several perch and trout for a meal. Bass was caught on a silver rapala type lure. The fish wrapped around the dock ladder but I was able to get him going in the right direction. A nice few hours on the lake. First time fishing Stevens for bass. I'll have to come back again sometime.
