Anyone out there use a LAMIGLAS G 1315 ROD? Or any of the G 1000 models? If so What'cha think?

That's the Kenai special used by a lot of Alaskans. Mighty stiff rod with a lot of power in the butt. You looking for a spinning rod to use on halibut? Performance wise the G1000's are similar to G Loomis GL2's. I prefer the Certified Pro to the G100 series. Sportco & Outdoor Emporium usually have the best prices around on Lami products.

certified pro 9' or 9'6" great rods i have the 9'6" great rod lots of sensitivity backbone and is very light on the arms
