Columbia River/Lower Yakima Smallies!

Post by columbiafan04 » Wed Jun 20, 2007 1:37 pm

First, I would like to leave a report. I fished Columbia Point last Friday (from shore and wading) and managed 3 decent smallies in an hour, had one my first cast. The biggest was 14 inches and the smallest 8. Used a new rapala deep diving crank bait, gold and black in color. Crankbait was just skimming the rocks when they would hit.

Next, I have a question. Does anybody know any better wading spots for bass on the lower yakima river and Columbia? PLEASE HELP! :)

Kyle
