hello im new to the forum i am originally from sw washington but i currently live in colorado(denver). Looks like we will be moving back to spokane area in the spring. and ws wondering about the ice fishing there. I have read a few of the posts. However i did not read anything about lakers (mackinaw) are there many lakes that have lakers. and did i read that you only get 10" of ice . i have only been ice fishing since i moved out to colorado (5 years) its a sickness once you start you cant stop. so any info on the ice fishing would greatly be appreciated. Trying to decide if i should sell all my gear before coming out.

RE:Ice fishing/ lake trout
Welcome. Spent some time in Aurora myself and dad still lives by Golden.
Well, you post is in the right spot. Ice Fishing Yea, the ice doesnt get that thick around here unless we get colder weather than normal but we do have a few that make the hike to the alpine lakes for that.
