Looking for a Musky Guide

Post by Greg S » Mon Sep 08, 2008 5:01 am

I am coming out Washington the weekend of Oct. 18 - 19 to visit my daughter and son-in-law. My son-in-law is stationed at FT. Lewis. I would like to take him fishing one day, but I am having a hard time finding any Musky guides. I am a die-hard Musky hunter here in Wisconsin and I just can't justify spending any money to take him salmon fishing.
If there isn't anyone that guides for Muskies in that area, I am will trade a weekend of Musky fishing in Wisconsin for one day of Musky fishing in Washington. I'm not a guide, but I fish most weekends from the end of May to the end of November.
I,m open to any idea's.

Thanks

Greg S

You found the right place, just wait. If you ask, then they will come.

Heyah Greg,
I' ll take you out to Tapps. Or maybe even down to Mayfield. I'm not a guide just a Muskyhunter as you are. A bit of an addict I must say.I'm also from Wisconsin. There are a few of us out here.. Let me know when the time gets closer. And we'll work something out. Just send me a p.m and we'll discuss. Interesting I'm taking a guy out from Illinois on Tuesday evening I'll do my best to get him over a Tiger... Talk at you later, Todd/Muskyhunter

Mulehunter

Congrats on the nice Tiger. I am definately looking forward to fishing with Todd. It is still 4 weeks away, but I'm not afraid of cold weather. My biggest fish last year was on the the last Sunday of November.

Congrats again.

Todd contacted me last week again. It looks like it will work out. He mentioned going to Mayfield Lake. Since my daughter lives in Lacey, that wouldn't be a problem.
I'm looking forward to it.
