Your also not too far from Deep lake, which is in Millersylvania park. Also, if you travel from Rochester to Elma there are several areas around there. For example, Vance Creek pond (cannot recall if it is number 1 or number 2, but it has bass). Just be sure to check the regs first because one of the Vance Creek ponds is juvenille only. There are also a lot of ponds off of the Chehalis river that contain bass.

Whats in Rochester?haha, just messin with ya'.
The lakes I know in that "General"area, you probably already know.
Your somewhat in the McIntosh,Offut region. Don't forget about Riffe and Mayfied(still a bit of a drive)
Still a drive but not to bad...Summit(just west of Olympia)
Another great spot that gets over looked Nahwatzel,Lost,Mason.
I own lake property out here,so if you want to meet up(pm)
Hope this helps and good luck
By the way,...Hows the new edition doing? Any fishing trips yet?

also as in lakes near rochester, there is one out the independence rd where I hooked my biggest bass ever, lost it of course! that place may be private now, I have not been out there in a while, also there is the sloughs off the hwy there in malone on your way to elma, have fun getting to them though.

yeah the groundskeeper told me the same story, think about it, if there was one that big in there it would be like jaws swimming around because of how shallow it is. I dont think thre is any much bigger then 5-6lbs at best. but ya never know, they have alot to eat and they eat at night.

catch brook trout at mt. adams or gifford pinchot national forest, my buddy caught a whole mess last weekend about 10-12 inches. if you were off all week I could come and camp with you while I work, since I work up there this time of year.
