RE:ChrisB caught some toads
Went out to the same lake as the trophy post. First cast at the Dock my girlfriend got her 6.1 lber off of, Doink ! On a jig, worked it to the boat. At first thought it was the same fish. Weighed it later, 5 lb 3oz.
Water temp got up to 48 for a few minutes. With daylight savings time coming up, GET OUT THERE PEOPLE.

Wow. Ive only located 2 largemouth in shallow water so far and only one charged the lure.
48? Is this place under 50 acres? Even American is only up to 45.
Friday is going to be a greeeeaaaatttt day to be out. New moon, consistent sun and some wind. Its the "best" day of the month to fish with the bite time about 11am-2pm. I'm still going to target smallies but will probably roam the shallows too.
Good job Chris. Keep it up and Silver open should be in the bag!
