If you like fishing for trout, then odds are you've fished some of the lakes that the WDFW plants every spring. One thing I've learned over the years is if you want to get a fast limit, or catch & release dozens of fish (without using bait, of course), then targeting lakes which have more fish per acre is a key to success.
I just finished compiling the data from the WDFW and calculated the fish per arce, both for all fish and for jumbo trout.
