Skok, purdy creek regulation

Post by SalmonAddict » Fri Jul 31, 2015 7:21 am

I'm looking thru the regs for Skok and I've seen that the river has been divided into 3 fishable sections (below 106, 106 to purdy, purdy to 101) as in the past years it was 2 sections (below 106, 106 to 101).

I see that the section from purdy to 101 is bobber fishing all the way til the end of king season (sept. 1).
So, does wdfw mean purdy creek to 101 by where purdy creek dumps into the Skok? And from there to 101?

Got some people telling me different things. Like no it will be open to all fishing August 1st on the whole river. And if you map it, purdy creek ends up being mussel bed creek so that boundary is a little farther upstream.

Please help me clarify

It's open for all fishing. No more sections are designated for bobber only come the first.

Nay, from the mouth of purdy up to 101 is still bobb'r only until the endeth of the chinook season. Yea if the hole below the creek is openeth to all fishing, I wouldn't be caught dead fishing thither. Ev'ryone knows those fishing off the rocks art being less than reputable by sight fishing, 'r in this case sight snagging.
