I was looking to try and save some money by putting together my own spoons, can anybody suggest a good place to go and buy spoon blanks.

I used Barlow's Tackle for the WL.com spoons. They were reasonable.

Hagen's is the source of a lot of fishing lure parts and has, by far, the prices I've seen as well as a huge amount of stock. They mostly sell to small tackle companies however, so there are a few things to keep in mind when ordering from them.

1) If ordering less than the minimum amount per line item (usually 1000) you have to pay $1 extra per line item. So say you order 10 orange spoon blanks that cost $1000 per 1000 and 10 pink ones that also cost the same your total would be $22 before shipping and taxes.
2) There is a minumum order amount, which is $50 I believe.
3) There's a 10% federal tax unless you can provide a federal tax identity number.
4) Although I have an order planned, I've never with them so I don't know how their shipping rates work.
