That brings up a good point - the tournament rules require you to only use the Fish-N-Fool bait provided. When those baits are all shredded you are done fishing, so guard them well!

I also had a thought. If the fish throws the lure/worm/tears it off the hook/line, how do you take a picture of the fish with the worm?

it would be the same as if you lost the fish at the boat. The picture has to have the bait in it, no exceptions.

I would advise everybody to use a soft plastic glue when putting lure on hook.

Soft plastic glue is ok to use right?

If you look around on the net I have left clues on how to make the baits last longer. I will tell you the glues don't work very well. The key is how you rig them.

About when is it planned to start? Some of the best lakes by me are closed until the end of April, but I have some secret spots that are open year round. None that I wouldn't share with ya'll though, so we'll see. I'll be fishing around a schedule so you all will probably have a leg up on me.

The first sentence of the other thread, that gives the info;

The contest will span a 2 week period in the spring of 2011, that is "yet to be announced" (permits have been enter for mid-May).

Okay, sounds good. I guess I skipped that part. Didn't see about it being in may. But that's when the fishing gets good around here, so it should be a fun time.

The glue is mostly used to repair mangled baits.

How many baits?

I have tried pretty much all the glues and they don't work very well on the extra heavy salt plastic we use in our baits. Using my rigging tips I have shared will be the key.
As far as how many baits you will get it will not be many, but you will have to wait and see.
