Put limits in the boat for 5 people and hit this pig to round out the day. Literally grabbed the plug at the the boat, seen the plug disappear, then seen chrome flash. Bree was quick on the net and scooped it before it straightened out all three hooks on the rear treble. Chrome bright fish. Epic day, my arms hurt.

Re: Salmon and Steelhead Fish Pictures
I really need to get a good camera to share some more pictures. I've been on the water almost every day for a week and a half now and been catching a bunch of sweet fish. Got to meet some really cool guys as well.
But anyways here is a limit of summer runs I scratched up after letting a darker one go. All 3 were within the same hour, in the middle of the day yesterday.
Today my dad and me found a few nice coho. Its hard to tell from the picture but the smallest was about 10 pounds.

Thanks. They aren't the brightest or the biggest but they sure were fun on the noodle rodprimetime wrote:Nice coho but love the summer runs!!! Nice job
My dad and me left this morning at 0' dark thirty and it sure paid off. We had our 2 limits of coho by 9 and were on our way back home. The 6th fish went home to a nice couple that was walking their dog at the boat launch.

Got a few big ones this afternoon. Can't really tell from the picture, but the darker one was 16-17lbs...My biggest Coho so far! The Brighter one was 12-14lbs. My grandpa landed that one, which was also his biggest coho so far.

Re: Salmon and Steelhead Fish Pictures
Yeah, it wasn't so dark when I first caught it. The bigger bucks always do tend to darken up pretty fast.
Gotta love October! Tons of coho pretty much wherever you go.
