being originally from minnesota i've caught and eaten more pike than i can count and both tiger and native muskies also where on the menue.my experiece with them on the plate is that the quality of their taste diminished greatly when they were over the 10lb mark. this has been true with most other warmwater fish that get to be of "lunker" quality. i am in agreement that the muskie in this state should be c&r'd just on what i said, 30" plus fish of this kind would be of less valued for eating quality. i also agree that one should also have the op, to take that once in a lifetime fish and raising the min, length would create this op, and would also leave more large c&r trophy fish to be recaught. i'm enjoying the talk on this subject and feel it's in the right direction for this particular fish and the op's that it does and can represent. <')//<
