Snoqualmie has a lot of sloughs and such.........................might of caught a few out of them........................until the floods and they got washed out......................then after a year back to catching small fish.........................hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm ..................................... bet those fish might of ended up in river during flooding.
RE:bass in our river systems?
I know their in the Snohomish. I caught about a 10" largie near the mouth of Ebey where it dumps into the Snohomish on a pink jig Pink Salmon fishing about 6 years ago. When I was Pink fishing last year along Lowell Rd. I would bring a spinner bait and on the way home I'd stop by some of the small ponds and catch as many largies as I wanted. Although the majority were small, there are some decent ones. I know for a fact those fish end up in the Snohomish. And there are hundreds of these ponds along the river.
RE:bass in our river systems?
I've never heard of bass or any spiny rays in the Puyallup but their are a few sloughs in the downtown Puyallup
area that are loaded with thick vegetation such as downed logs and lillypads. I was back here last year and saw plenty
of activity(top water) Maybe one of these days I'll check it out but casting may be a bit difficult with so many over hanging trees. I will be doing some scouting and fishing on the Chehalis
