Nice video. I've known people who have kept bass in aquariums. The aquarium in the video was too small.

Awhile back I used to keep the small Perch alive in a well and give them to my mom for her pond,..then came the racoons and bye bye Perch,..so who knows,.anyways just thinking out loud,...!
Well with the warmwater species just dont add a heater to it unless your tank gets really cold. I finally just turned my heater off since I only had goldfish in it and I noticed my filters dont get all clogged up nearly as fast...fact I've gone twice as long as I used to. Trout wont survive unless you have a chiller running. For the bass what I would do is just get a good aerator and 2 large external powerfilters rated for your size of tank. I would put them each at one of the narrow ends of the tank facing each other. I would then use a Y to split the aerator tubing and put two airstones at each end at the bottom of the tanks under the filters but on the long sides....wish I could draw you a picture...that way the bubbles dont end up going into the filters intake.....you may not even need the aerator. I always run twice as much filtration as they say. For a bass I would use larger gravel cause it could easily swallow some of the smaller ones. I'd try to go to a 100g tank though. So yeah, unheated, lights off at night, a 1" layer of large gravel (not the regular aquarium gravel like in the video), more like polished rocks, maybe some aquarium grade drift wood (stuff from "the wild" would have too many bugs/microrganisms). and really good filtration.

There are websites you can buy individual bass from too. I'd have to spend time in google to find them but I have to go to bed, getting up at 5am. for a 55gal I'd probably do perch or bluegill and no more than 2-4.....you can buy them individually too. The tank in the video was probably a 30g, but Im just guessing from the size of the mouse in the tank

When I have my own house I'll get a 100-200 tank and put some sort of sport fish in it.
