Fish a bobber and jig away from the wall and tip it with either raw prawn or raw shrimp. Corkie and yarn works well to. The chum in Whatcom creek are aggressive and will eat just about anything you throw. As far as it being fishable with the rain, the answer is yes. No real tide to speak of. Go get em.

When does this river end for chum ? And can you fish further down with float and jig ? Wall looks pretty intense for me. Thanks

There is no such thing as common sense on this water... Recently watched a fisherman with 1500 pound Para cord on his reel snag a hefty 20+ pound chum only to loose it under tension, the guy to his immediate right got a 3 ounce pyramid to the head, knocking his hat into the water and gashing him open, not only did the guy not say sorry, but told him next time he should've moved out of the way faster... Thought for sure there was going to be a argument and a fight but the guy walked away.... Not a nice place to fish... Bring a helmet and pads for protection.

is there still fish to be caught as of now or would a trip just be a waste of time now. And when does this fishery usually die off

still a few more weeks of fishing up there, I personally wont go there anymore after hearing the issues folks have had. I wish to find solitude and peace by myself or with a friend, but not arm to arm combat salmon fishing.....
