Saw one guy with a nice bright steel hen first thing in the morning. Probably 7-8 lbs. By the boat launch. Said it was his third cast. He said they were jumping out toward the middle where the boats normally run so he took a few casts out there with a yarnie and on his 3rd cast, fish on. That's the only fish we saw from the bank at Blue Creek, but again, wer were unknowingly fishing too high. I'm sure more were caught below the creek.
There was also a jack springer caught up at Barrier. Guy was free drifting big globs of eggs.

Lol was in water not prepared to handle camera and hold up fish..norm wouldn't even touch it and I tried my best to ster it towards him downstream!

after landing my first Chinook on the CR this Sunday, I am calling in sick on 4/18 and try my luck on the Cowlitz( bank).
