I was pretty good on the Microsoft Flight Simulator.I think I could fly the WL.com Learjet.Landing was a problem for me but once I was in the air I did well.Maybe if I was the pilot Marc could be Co-Pilot and do the landings.Im looking forward to the upgraded site.Should be great fun. Thanks Mike ,Aaron and the mods for making this site Grrrrrrrreat..

Hey, were you guys going to have a fishing diary/logbook that has been talked about in the forums? http://www.washingtonlakes.com/forum/ya ... diary.aspx Seems like you guys are already (kind of) collecting data from premium members. It's another feature, maybe V3?

We're almost there. With the new site, if you're a Premium Member, you'll be able to see all of your reports in one place along with any blog posts and photos. The only thing mising from that Fishing Diary page would be a few of the data items... wind, temp, line length out.. We have those things written down for future expansion. I would expect we'll be able to expand the fishing report data items sometime this year.

Can't wait for the new stuff to start - One thing I was thinking about was maby each area or county could have an abassordor for the lakes in their areas to up date fishing reports. I live in the spokane area and it would be nice to see weekly updated on lakes in my area. With the gas prices what they are some of us are limited to fishing our home waters. I try to fish each week and often post as much info as I can to help others enjoy the sport. Also it would be nice to see a kids / teens fishing derby in our area. "Take a kid fishing" - Dave

Just a head's up to everyone. Due to the ever growing popularity of the site, we have purchased a dedicated server. What this means (theoretically) is faster loading times, forum, etc because there will be no other websites on the server, just good old WL.com. Aaron should be ready for the big switch in the next week or so. There may be some down time, hard to say just how much. But it will be way worth it. Thanks everyone for making the site so successful we were forced to do this. :-)

Also, (and as part of the above) because we are moving everything to a new server, we have not been able to do updates like we'd like. But soon we will be updating the Forum for increased functionality - we think you'll be pleased. Also, you may know that googlevideo stopped taking new videos. So we will need to convert the site code to handle YouTube embedded videos. Almost all the videos are now on YouTube awaiting Aaron's coding expertise. We hope to move them over soon so I don't have to host site videos through my Blog. One big upside is the recent addition of a HD camcorder to WL.com, so future videos will be in beautiful HD - cool! The downside of using YouTube is they require a 10 minute video limit, meaning our Featured Length Videos will end up being Part 1 and 2, like we did for the Neah Bay video.

Wow Mike,
A dedicated server!!! That's a big investment. I hope to add some photos and videos to the site this year. Keep up the great work.
