bluegill LM bass lakes/ponds?

Post by bass-master » Sun Aug 05, 2007 2:25 pm

i just started fly fishing and have caught nothing still, while bass fishing at Coulon i tied a crazy charlie fly to my spinning rod not expecting anything to hit it, but i burned it under the surface and warmouth, sunfish and little SM bass were killing it! all of them were even hitting a crankbait burned super fast! anyway i went down yesterday night and boy, seafair a-holes everywhere, suprisingly, i caught 4 warmouth on my spinning rod with a crazy charlie fly (on my spinning rod, too many people and boats for the fly rod) they smacked it hard each time (i tied the flies too :bom: )

but my question is where are some good lakes/ponds that are quiet and no boats with a lot of bluegill, warmouth, etc. and maybe LM bass (i have only got SM this year, biggest about 2lb) preferably close to renton, im only 14 and my dad doesnt like to drive too far everyday (he usually has to go to canada or oregon almost everyday) we will have float tubes soon

i already know of a good spot, a small pond behind Target at south center, i know it has LM and bluegill (i saw somebody in a boat catch like a 2lb LM) and i think bluegills, kept stripping the worm off my bobber (i dont use live bait anymore)
