Too heavy in my opinion, if your using spinning gear I would go with 10 pound, if youre using a level wind 12 or 14 pound should do the trick. :fish:

Puyallup closes next Friday. But for steelhead you probably only need 10 but when the kings or chums are there I use either 12 or 15.

Just use a huge braid. Shoot go 100 lb even I mean it is only like a 20 lb dia. The find the biggest treble hook ya can find. Razor sharp of course. A good size weight and start scraping up all the snags you can get onto and clean it up for next year lol. I bet someone thought I was gonna say start snaggin fish.

Oh yeah, don't forget to use a 24 oz. cannonball for a sinker. ;)
