Post by sickbayer » Fri Feb 12, 2010 7:48 pm

I just got delievery of my brand new TR1 auto pilot for a whooping 1299 bucks, also 143.00 for bracket. However i found the best deal on the throttle actuator at hodges marine for $160. Now all i really need is the broadband sounder, right Matt?....

Just gotta ask!!!!

Jay driving the boat from the back seat. Working very hard to keep it straight!

Image

No one is driving!!!!! Wish you could see the gps better, the track is straight as an arrow!

Image

We went straight from downtown Kirkland to hunts point with out touching the steering, numerous beverages and a good cigar without a thought of steering........ well we thought about it but didn't have too.

NICE!!! I like it.

We put a 55lb MinnKota PowerDrive V2 with the AutoPilot and CoPilot options on the 16ft fiberglass. Its pretty cool having the autopilot feature for trolling and hanging off of points in the wind.

If you like the Autopilot, wait till you try the ipilot.

this evening i just finished installing the throttle actuator and it all done took about 1.5 hours. Got to hand it to garmin they did a great job in the installation manuals everything went plain sailing except the need for a 19/32 drill bit...
