RE:spro frogs
Black has ALWAYS worked well for me,..but that's just me,..I have allot of different colors of SPROS though but seem 2 tie on the Black one 1st,..honestly I believe any color is fine as it isn't the color that attracts the Bass 2 the top,..it's the action!

RE:spro frogs
PINK!
No seriously, the color is really only to get the fisherman to bite. Think about the field of vision of bass. They will only see the underside.
Profile will be your most important asset and your on the right path with the Spro series.
With that said, if your interested in coming close to frog color in the Northwest, go with the Natural Green.
But hey, what do I know about baits and color. If I remember correctly, wasn't it you who agreed with littlebassdez that color of reaction baits don't matter at all. Maybe it was someone else.

RAINFOREST , GREENTREE ,NATURALRED, NAVYSEAL, WHITE!!
FM ,
Keep in mind that your throwing a "topwater" plug ! with that being said i base my color selections on the conditions for that day ! Sunny days will The natural colors and cloudy days will get the darker colors , allow that to be your base in strategy to start with . There will be times that the fish will tell to do soemthing different , usally when you get a few blow ups but yet they dont commit to to your frog . Think about Size next , Continue to throw that same color just in a smaller size . Every Bronzeye i own i also have a matching color in the "JR" size .. Hope this gives you a little better insight into the best bass bite that you will ever witness with your eyez !! :batman:

RE:spro frogs
I use colors that I can easily see in low light conditions and with lots of veggies on top of the water. The natural green colors are nice, but they disappear in the pads. Go with orange, yellow or white and you'll be able to track your frog a lot better when it matters. Most frogs around here have yellow/white bellies anyways. I think with topwater, colors that you can see easily are more important than what you think the fish will like.

RE:spro frogs
Only my opinion but the river 2 sea is far superior than the SPRO. Snagproof has SPRO beat also. :bball:

RE:spro frogs
ChrisB I like spros better than snagproof frogs, because snagproofs rip easy and sometimes they just sink right to the bottom. I have never used river 2 sea frogs. i just went to the website. I'm going to have to check them out !!!:bounce:

RE:spro frogs
Chris I'm surprised you aren't a Swamp Donkey user. I don't know if they make them anymore though. Also Tru Tungsten has a hollow body frog out now and if they're made with the same quality standards as TT weights then they're going to be fantastic. I'll probably pick up a couple this year.
RE:spro frogs
I'm not familar with the Spro frog. I usually go with whats been working for years, Hollow body "Mans", I think its got fog legs but more of a mouse. Bought it back when Cali Delta guys were killin em on it. White- it seems to work in all conditions.

Hey Chris ,
Can you give me some pro vs cons on the River2sea and snagproof ? What do you like in your frogs ? I use many River2sea hard baits and i was gonna try there frog this year also , but i came across Ish Monroe new frog and his colors are sick ! But yea man give us a little inside personal knowledge as to why you fish with those compared to the Spro .

RE:spro frogs
Hey Dez, the River 2 Sea frogs don't get filled with water and sink nearly as fast. I have only started using them, but I personally have seen a better hook up ratio with them. I don't mind the spro's, as I still have a few in the Rainforest black color, but IMO the River 2 Sea baits are far superior. Important as always, go with what works for you. I know guys that wouln't give up their Spro's for anything.
