The only reason I know how many times at that piticular lake is so I KNOW that I go enough times to 'pay' for the parking permit for the boat launch. So I kept on recording every trip for each month, then I know how much money I saved by having the permit. In '07 I saved $145, in '08 I saved $175, in '09 I saved $125. A little short for '09 as I didn't have the gas for the truck and had to syphon gas from the cars to go fishing in Sept, and Oct. Already have the permit for '10 and am gonna enjoy this year also. Even have a permit for Sammamish this year. YEA!

That's awesome Amx, I bought a season pass to one of the local launch/park areas a couple of years for the convenience of paying all at one time plus the money savings. Turned out both times I didn't get to fish as much as I had planned. Sometimes we just can't get out enough.
Hope your 2010 fishing turns out to be record breaking for you.
Stay safe and stretch some line

Fishing was rough yesterday, the whole Oly Peninsula was blown out. Is there a way to fish in fast / high water?

Not really. A few taps but the water was way up there. Half of the boat launch was underwater. I think the report's up for it. Lookin' towards goin south hopefully. Got a birthday comin' up and I'm tryin' to use that as a catalyst for my wife to let me go. I think it just might work... I hope!

I've only been fishing once since duck season opened mid October. Priorities! However, yesterday was last day of season, so the fishing begins..................... NOW!

I have not been fishing since I broke my wrist at the Lake Samish boat launch. I was in a hurry to get my boat launched
and slipped in the gravel and fell hard. My wrist was messed up but I launched anyway and fished all day.
3 months in a cast, 1 month therapy I'm more than ready! Fish-On .
