RE:2010 WDFW Tourney Schedule
As I read through the scedule I found a couple of things I have questions about so I thought to ask them here.
#1 I thought we could only have one tournament per body of water at a time. When did this change?
#2 Why would there be a restriction on certain waters like Banks and Long lk in Spokane county in May and June?
#3 I see there is a Muskie tournament on the Pend Orellie, did they plant tigers up there or is this a mis print?
Thanks for your time and good luck to all.

RE:2010 WDFW Tourney Schedule
I believe that it depends on the size of the body of water such as Lake Washington. I was in a club tourney on Moses last year and there was another club on the water, just starting and finishing from a different launchYellowBear wrote:

Less than 300acres, 1 contest per day, max of 15 boats
301 - 3,000 acres, 1 contest per day, max of 35 boats
3,001 - 6,000 acres, 2 contests per day, max of 75 boats
6,001 - 10,000 acres, 2 contests per day, max of 120 boats
More than 10,000 acres, 3 contests per day, max of 250 boats
It also includes Lake Wallula too! I don't remember why exactly though.YellowBear wrote: #2 Why would there be a restriction on certain waters like Banks and Long lk in Spokane county in May and June?
That tourney is for Pike, not tigers.YellowBear wrote: #3 I see there is a Muskie tournament on the Pend Orellie, did they plant tigers up there or is this a mis print?
RE:2010 WDFW Tourney Schedule
Restrictions due to Largemouth being kept WAY TOO MUCH and IN QUANTITY by peoples from another country, during the spawn when the fish are shallow and are bing caught by netting. As well as lots of small mouth. So the dept. doesn't want those fish caught and then released in another part of the lake. So I've heard anyway. Been a problem for at least 10 years. Was at first a rule that no Largemouth can be weighed in at a tournament.
