Bass Fishing any one?

Post by Trent Hale » Sun Jan 03, 2010 11:42 pm

Where are the bass reports? All the die hard bassers quit for winter? I thought this is when the HAWGS bite. Whats going on?

Ive been thinking the same thing. Not many reports for Tapps either. Then, to make it worse... The county park closed until March 1

Most of us don't fish for bass in the winter. For myself it is too cold and I don't like the boat being wet all winter and it getting mildewy.

Dez my hats off to ya. You are a true die hard bass'er. I was going to hit long Lk last week but there was ice in the middle so I didn't. I have been thinking of Mason being deeper with drop off areas. Like AMX I have no need to get wet at least not yet. Looking forward to read the reports.

Ya, I've broken ice many times with my bass boat. Don't need to anymore, I'm old. Altho I'm thinking of going Wed or Thur this week. Not sure which lake, maybe Sammamish. Gotta get a launch permit tomorrow.

I didn't even know bass where in the lakes during the winter. I thought the aliens came and dropped them back off in the spring. Good to know guys, thanks.

I was wondering why I kept getting this buzzing in my head when spring got closer last year. Thought it was the voices in my head trying to escape ... LOL.

Long Lake is open year round?

i got a sweet new rod and reel and some lures/box, etc for Christmas but I haven't been out because its DUCK season! my free time has been spent mostly in skagit chasing Daffy and his friends. I'll be after the bass first week of feb.

So is that you at Beaver Lake (skagit) with your shotgun keeping me from bass fishing this winter? lol, just kidding, but the last two times I have stopped by Beaver the Duckers have beat me to the punch, so i keep on driving.
