Muskie Christmas/Holiday Party!

Post by bad esox » Sun Dec 13, 2009 6:59 am

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to take a minute to say "thanks" for to all for coming out yesterday afternoon
to attend our Chapter 57 Annual Meeting/Election/Christmas Raffle:)

It was a great time! It was so good to see so many of your smiling faces
there! The raffle was tremendous! Rosann Green won the new G. Loomis rod this
year as part of the "Incentive Program"...way to go Rosann...The rod is
beautiful! Thanks also to V.P., Brett Olson, for donating some of his hand made lures to the
raffle! If you have not had the opportunity to see Brett's "handy" work
lately...you are missing something! The raffle overall was awesome!
Thanks go out to Lee Burns and Norm Dillon for helping me out this year with
raffle items. You guys rock!

President, Buddy Hartman did an excellent job of keeping us rolling along
and was also very "entertaining" in a Buddy kind of way...what a guy!;)
The Board for 2010 will remain the same...only some positions may change
within the Board itself. We all had such a good time in 2009...we figured
we would give it another try:)
I would personally like to thank the entire 2009 Board for all they have
done this year. It was a very, very busy year and we accomplished a great
many demanding tasks...it is not easy all the time, but well worth the final
outcome when done so professionally...thank you!

Thanks: Buddy, Brett, Jani, Tammy, Russ, and Mike Haw...your time and effort
in supporting this Chapter is greatly appreciated. Thanks to ALL the
members who also "volunteered" to help us out with various "outings" and
"projects". I want you to know that your time is greatly appreciated also!
I can't say enough about this Chapter of Muskies, Inc. nor its' members...you are all awesome!
Thanks for 2009 and let's go get 2010!

Happy Holidays,

Perry Peterson
VP Internal Affairs

3. Buddy with Mike F. with his winning raffle prize of a a handsome tiger muskie print from Wholesale Sports Outfitters.
4. Pete J. with a fine Tiger Muskie door mat from MuskyHunter Magazine.
5. Dan F. with an embroidered door hanging, retrofitted by member Imogene and professionally embroidered by our fine sponsor, Olympic Embroidery with our Chapter's logos.
6. Mike F. with a baby stuffed tiger muskie - not his biggest fish, but one that is going to make a big hit at home!
7. Just some of Brett's famous home-made lures. Not only are they beautiful, they drive the tigers wild! Zoom in on the custom CH 57 lure with logo & the WSP logo - flashing blue lights optional! The troopers love it.
8. Muskies, Inc. logo, with Chapter 57 logo. FedEx donated over 20 banners for our great sponsors; look for some of these at our events coming in 2010.

I talked with Cameron on the phone today and he had a great time. Something tells me that musky are in his future.

Thanks Chap 57, your one hell of group of people.

See you all on the water next year.

Dex: The whole room sure enjoyed you "sitting in" by phone from Iraq!
It was great to hear your voice.
I like that we got your Mom in the last picture, too, along with your son.

That trophy is almost bigger than he is!

Looking forward to seeing you.

Cheers,

Wow, sorry we missed the party, looks like it was a good one #-o . We were out of town or we would have been there.
That is way cool that I won the incentive raffle and got a G. Loomis rod, Thanks. I guess helping out at club functions really does pay!!! and it's fun too.:bounce: Lot's of fun and interesting people to work and socialize with in the club. Sorry we missed getting to chat with you too Norm, that's neat that you could join the party for a little while by phone. You and all our fellow Americans and friends over there stay safe, please.
Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!:bigsmurf:
