You can catch them, you just cant keep them. It really dont matter if you can keep them or not there fun to catch. Hard fights, line snapping rod breaking (in my case this weekend, broke my tip after the fish got hung up on a limb.) loads of fun. Its not closed to fishing closed to keeping them. So catch and release them. Enjoy the fun you get.
More fish please!

Nice fish Curado... I hooked into a few Silvers today on the RVFSHR Spoons you told me about. Is that what you also use for Chum?

Next week are you thinking the Snohomish will be good for Chums or the week after?

Nice silver Curado, did you pick that up where we met last or lower?
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Nice silver!!!! So far Ive walked close to 30 doggies. I Have taken home only 5 total for smoking and eggs. May get out this weekend for some more. This last trip cost me the tip of my rod, but my okuma comes with a lifetime warrenty that I hope will get me a new rod.

Late next week, provided the river drops, you should have some luck. There spread pretty thin right now.

Since I have never fished the river... Where would be a good public access place to go?

Im headed to the skok in the am. Was wanting to go to the cow but with water being low on the skok and steely season being fresh still figure Ill give them some more time. I should be able to hit my money spot and hopefully hook into some more good chum for the smoker. I think I only have 2 more in the freezer need some more.
More fish please!
