Are we allowed to fish golf course ponds? Do they even have bass in them?

RE:Golf Courses
ive always wondered the same things...
Today she met me at the door, said I would have to choose, if I picked up that fishing rod today, she'd be packing all her things and she'd be gone by noon....well I'm gonna miss her when I get home

RE:Golf Courses
If you thnk about it. It is private property owned by the golf course. They aren't going to want a bunch of anglers walking around fishing. I admit that with the care that is put into building golf courses, there are some sweet looking water holes out there.

Never hurts to ask. You never know, the course manager and you may come to some sort of agreement. Maybe something like early on a weekday morning, off by a certain time

Wandermere Golf Course in Spokane has a lake and has had fish in it for decades. They didn't allow it back in the 60's and they don't allow it now.

I'm not saying I did this....but I know a guy that took 20 feet of line, a hook, and a senko, to Meadowood golf course in Liberty Lake. He may have caught a LM that was just under 2 pounds and lost another one that was bigger with his handline and senko..... but I wasn't there. I just heard all of this from some guy. The guy in the picture looks kind of like me but it's definitely not me because I asked about fishing and they said definitely NO.

RE:Golf Courses
As a kid the golf courses in the Twin Falls Idaho area would allow some fishing in their ponds. Being I am not a golfer, I don't even give a thought anymore, but................ This was 35 years ago, so things change.
I suggest that as mentioned above, it never hurts to ask. Some courses might and some might not, and to be sure, not all golf course ponds will even be deep enough to hold fish.

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.

I don't want to sell anyone out, so you are going to have to work at it to get the info from me, but look at FISHNISLIFE's signature. That's all I'm gonna say.
