That’s awesome Mike. I give a lot of the smoked salmon away to friends at work and they love it! I have 4 more soaking from today's outing for the smoker tomorrow. This morning was absolutely stellar. Here is a pic of me holding 6 of the 8 we caught this morning. My buddy Doug choose to take 2 leaving me with 6 to smoke up and fillet for the BBQ. What a guy!

My trip to Dash point was successful for pinks. Brought home my limit using a jig I tied the night before.

Caught my first pink today in the Nisqually. Picked up a jack and a nice size hatchery fish as well. See how the pink eats tonight.

These pinks taste great. Grilled has been my cooking method of choice for the fillets. Can't get enough! They also smoke up great. Enjoy.

I totally agree...even when I brought them home the last time (2007) from the Carbon River.

Question how much longer are the pinks going to be running? I fished yesterday got my limit in one hour. That is the fastest limit this season.

I am south of you and in 2007 I just fished for pinks in the Carbon River where they tapered off the beginning of Oct. So they should be winding down soon in the sound.

rumors are they are just really starting to come into Snohomish. Last couple weeks have been slower than Puyallup but I hear it's definitely been picking up. I'd take a wild guess at about 3-4 more weeks.

We limited in the Snohomish last Monday in the rain. Plunked sandshrimp from a boat on a current seam.
