RE:Favorite far away lake
West Point on the Georgia / Alabama border. White bass, Striped bass, Hybrid stripers, LM bass, and great Crappie fishing as well. Also some big cats if that's your fancy. Used to spend a week every summer there and chase the Hybrids. Catch a school of Hybrids busting into a school of threadfin shad and it's literally a fish every cast with a Rattle Trap, and many times two at once. LM fishing was great on points or humps with a Carolina rig and lizzard.
