Trout lures!!!
Anyone use trout lures for bass? I picked up a buzzbomb and it works perfectly as a buzzbait. The one I bought has feathers, so it has a bigger profile. I often catch big bass on castmasters as well. I like to throw my buzzbombs in shallow water, but I sometimes hang up on peoples lawns. Usually a well kept lawn means big bass for me. There is something about their stretch of shoreline.
RE:Trout lures!!!
More bugs, more small fish = more Big Bass. :-)
Oh ya, sometimes more submergent weeds from the washed off fertilizer = more fishies all over.

I have the world-wide reputation of catching trout on bass lures hehe.... I have a fire tiger Shad Rap that the trout just can't stay off of. It's known locally as the Trout Killer.

RE:Trout lures!!!
OK, so your question is do any of use use trout lures for Bass?
I have never seen a lure that was effective for only one species. I have caught Bass, Trout, Crappie, Perch, even Catfish on the same lures. After all, lures either attract reaction strikes, simulate or imitate food, or attract through stimulating instinct.
Any lure that does any of the above will catch any species of predatory fish. Then it is a matter is choosing a size that is best suited for the size of fish you are after.
So, while I would not use a 1/16" Rooster Tail Spinner for Bass most of the time, there are times when it is a great choice. While I would not use a 7" floating Rapala for trout most of the time, there ...........................

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
RE:Trout lures!!!
I have a buddy who is a massive spinner guy. Especially bluefox and rooster tails... always his first choice, even when chasing bass.
Me, I've fallen in love with Rapals, and I caught a beautiful brook trout yesterday while casting out my jointed 7" floating rapala! :P
