Chapter Meeting - New Faces

Post by Deadeyemark » Fri Jul 20, 2007 2:41 pm

Hi Guys,
Great to see everyone last nite. I still don't have everyone's name memorized but then again, I suck at that.
Some new faces that are always welcome. Mike Carey, great to finally meet you and thanx for the generous donations to our raffle and congrats on winning the Ducktail spinnerbait. Reelinanrockin, nice to meet you, glad you could come and hope to see you at the next meetings. Bryon and Jason, new members. Welcome aboard.
Great crankbait presentation by Perry(Mr Chairman)and an equally great jerk/twitchbait presentation by Todd(Membership). Thanx you guys. I learned some new tricks.
Fill up those lunge slips and bring em to the next meeting.
Good luck out there.

Thanks to everyone for their friendly welcome. I enjoyed getting to meet some of the people behind the monikers. You have a very dedicated and fast growing club! The Muskie Forum has been one of the more pleasant surprises since we upgraded the site. Keep up the great work supporting this very worthy fishery!

Deadeye,

Thanks, for the comments and all that you personally contribute!
Last nights Muskies Inc. meeting was great. It was great to see those "regular" faces along with many new members at the meeting.
I would personally like to thank Mike Carey from WASHINGTONLAKES.COM for stopping by and contributing to our raffle. I would also like to thank Steve Capps and Kieth of Sportman's Warehouse in Federal Way, along with their helpers, for giving us a hand in setting up.

Mark gave us some great information on tournaments. I spoke on the topic of using Crankbaits for muskies. Todd spoke on techniques for using Jerkbaits for muskies. Mark followed up with giving us all some more valuable information on release techniques that really work. I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to the meeting. Together as a "team" we can work with the WDFW to create a great muskie fishery for all.

Next month we hope to have a speaker on how to use Bucktails, and possibly, a friend (retired) from the WDFW that was paramount in beginning the muskie program here in Washington. I hope you all can attend it should be very interesting.
For those of you who took FLIERS please make sure they get posted in your favorite Sports/Tackle/Marine stores. It is important to get the word out. It is also important that we use our resources wisely. Tell a friend, hand out a business card...get the word out as a proud member of Muskies Inc.

"T-shirts" with the club logo are also now available $25.00 for members/$30.00 for non-members prepaid. Remember it is for a good cause and any profit goes right back into the Chapter support fund.

One last note, those of you who have the "YELLOW JOURNALS" from the WDFW please remember to keep filling them out. This is important so the WDFW can gather the information they need from us to support the muskie program in this state.

Thanks again to all those who attended last nights meeting. I will be looking forward to seeing you next month, that is, if I don't see you on the water beforehand!

Good fishing...C-P-R:)
