Catching Pinks off the shore

Hello,
I am boatless and wanting to catch some pinks. I have a few questions. Are the Pinks here yet or more towards the end of the month?
If they are here does anyone have recomended spots? I live in Issaquah. Also, I have been told just casting out a pink spoon and reeling in is the best way to cath these guys? Are there other methods that work as well?

Also, I heard of a fishing pier near the West Seattle Bridge but I don't know the name. Does anyone?

They are at Dash Point which is south of you. People just wade out and cast.

The fishing pier under the west seattle bridge is called Spokane street. A great place to start for the pinks. They are there in small numbers, so give it a week or 2 and they will be thick. Pink jigs and Pink mini hoochies is my lure of choice.

If you have a pair of waders, its very fun to get out on the beach. Don't stick to just the piers, wade out on the beach and its all great fun.

Pinks are starting to really come in from the reports I've been reading.

Just got back from a 530AM outing during hightide and caught this beautiful bright 19" pink salmon off a pink buzzbomb.

If you want to get some pinks now, head up to Bush Point on Whidbey Island. They are really starting to push through and they are getting good numbers off the beach.

Pink buzz bomb, single/barbless hook. Cast out and retrieve. I hope you like making friends, you won't be out there alone...

The river isn't that wide....just go under the WEST side of the Spokane St bridge and fish from shore. The road is the one that goes to the west side of Harbor Island. It will be easier to bring the fish in. There are some parks along the river on both sides. Just drive along the river and look for little roads that go towards the river. Ask people...they will help. Google map the river and look for little spots along the river that you can get to. Good luck to you. Steve

This will make it easy... this is a pic of the little park under the west spokane st bridge.......The east side waterway of Harbor Island also has a bridge at water level that you can fish from....Look for the people. NOTE: You will have to copy and paste this whole addy...
