Big black ribbon tailed worms for the bass. The people that run the camp ground/bait shop will point you in the right direction. Also there are 20 +lb bows in there!!! Man I am jealous that is my all time favorite place to fish!!! Oh and the forest is the place I had the most luck for bass. You can't miss it trees out of the water every where..

Also Palina (sp?) right there in the same area is A+

Any sporting good store should have the plastics and Paulina is another lake up there in that area. And ya fish the shaded side of the trees!

Mostly it is but there are denser areas and those tend to hold more fish! I would T-rig them and swim them and drag them through the brush. If you go with spinner baits throw them early around the edges and in the coves!

The lake you are referring to is Paulina lake and Paulina creek. If you are in the area around Crane Prairie, and want to change things up a bit, they Rotenoned Diamond lake and restocked with porker trout. Good kid fishery and there are some decent sized chromers in there.

Also check out the rocky edges of Billy Chinook for bass, and basically anything on the Cascade Lakes Hwy will be trout-city right now, esp for trolled flies and bait fishing.

Ya there were alot of fish. Lots of small, and seen huge ones. One guy lost about 8-10lb at the boat cause he had no net. They are deff post spawn all fish were caught in 5-6 ft of water.
