MY NEW ROD
Well the drop shot rod i ordered from Quest per the advice of Tag Watson and David Wat arrived and man am i impressed. Took it out for smallies yesterday and man that thing has great feeling. Landed 4 smallies on the drop shot and 6 on a t-rigged shot craw from WCCT and was using a Money Shot Minnow from WCCT on the d-shot. But once again thanks David for the discount on the rod.

Congratulations! What make and model?
I use a Lamiglas Certified Pro Drop Shot Special. It isn't even a fair fight. :bigsmurf:

Congrats on your new rod, FM. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it. I don't do a lot of finesse fishing, but when I do, that rod is very tough to beat. You'll be getting 2 or 3 more of those eventually. Have fun!

Gosh, I love this rod!!! It is such a beautiful of baby bear power (i.e., it's just right. not too hot or too cold. :chef: )fishingmachine wrote:Im pretty sure we have the same rod then IB
If you haven't already, get yourself some seaguar invizx fluorocarbon. Its limpness suits my style of drop shotting. It is hard to miss strikes with this combination. In addition it is the most economical of the flurocarbons.
