Wipers (cool video inside)

I was watching a semi local fishing show and they were out side Denver catching every thing from wipers to bluegill on shad lipless and jerk baits.

These wipers look like TANKS any body ever caught 1. I still got my 7' m spinning rod and I am thinking it won't be enough:-" They look like they can put up quite a fight. The record is 27+ lbs and they seem to average the same as a Florida strain bass. I have attached a picture of one can't find many but hopefully soon I will have a picture of one posted here on WL (if I can ever get a car#-o )

coool vid man !! reminds me of the good ol days down in nashville on persy priest lake .. It was such the treat when one of those Wipers crushed my bass baits .. i can still hear the drag now zinnnnngggggg !!

So they are worth the drive Dez? It is a couple hundred miles but there are a lot of fish:bounce: I CAN'T WAIT:cheers:
