Hey brother. I LOVE flippin' Jigs for Big Bass. The fella that taught me how to flip loved to use a black and blue 5/8 oz STanley Lures flippin jig with an Uncle josh black pork frog. I tend to prefere the silacone skirts more than rubber because they hold up better and don't rot over time like rubber does. Booyah baits make awesome, natural "Camo" colored jigs that I use a lot when flippin for big bass on Potholes Res and Banks. Sometimes, going with a light rigging, and slow fall-Texas rigged 3.5 inch Tube baits produce when thick weeds aren't a factor. sometimes a tiny split shot at the head of the tube is all the weight I need to entice big, nuetral cruising Largemouth to inhale my jig and HOLD ON! Look at http://www.fishingskirts.com and go crazy with your choices. Living Image, Silicone, Frog's hair, glow, natural, camo... you get the point. Find a jig head design that you like, and you can purchase what ever skirts you want. Easy as can be.

That place has sweet prices. The thing I can't figure out is if they are complete skirts, or skirt making material where I need a band stretcher tool to add my own bands.

They sell them as material, you have to add the bands yourself. Unless of course you buy the Ultra banded material..

That should answer all the questions you may have about jigs. One point to always remember though and that is never use the same color of jig and trailer. they should always be two different colors.
