I saw some stuff about this year not last year keep it current and more =this year so I will take that as showtime as that I could never say no to!

I just bought a new reel up at sportsman warehouse... diawa sealine 300h

I'm upgrading from the penn 209 I used last year. the real is a bit heavy and does not have instant anti reverse but it feels very well made and has a good drag. it was a lot cheaper than the shimano tekota reel I really wanted but oh well I don't really need a 200$ reel.

I'm definately bummed about the picture. I couldn't get a grip on it and didn't realize the head was tilted away. Plus I'll admit, my arms were gettign tired! Oh well, maybe I can capture a better shot off the video.

I'm a little worried though I'm not sure I can catch a thirty plus lingcod thats less than 40in. lol

I caught this beast about a month ago in 50ft of water. 35inches...
