Lake Langlois

Post by ral » Sat Jun 23, 2007 4:07 pm

Has anyone ever caught a bass over 12" in Langlois? I have fished the lake for several years and I can catch many small bass but never anything with any size. I have occasionally seen large bass down deep but even when I fish deep I don't catch them. If anyone has any information or suggestions they would be welcome.

I am an amateur bass fisherman, so I can't say this was more skill than luck. My first bass ever out of Langlois was a nice 13+"er. I was fishing a gold flake twisty tail grub. Nothing fancy here. The water is very clear. I fished in the early morning, and in complete shade, so the bass would not see me. There are some nice bass in there.
