Two good websites

www.luremaking.com
good downloadable PDFs with lure building instructions and good parts catalog.
http://www.worthco.com/
This site rocks for seeing what is out there. They make supplies for most of the lure makers out there. They sell in quantities of 1000 but will do smaller ones with a additional charge added on.

Thanks! That is good to hear. I have a $25 gift card and now I have a reason to spend it.

Maybe we should have an inline spinner making get together. :albino:

Have you guys thought about soldering a single trailer hook or attaching a treble as a trailer? Like on a Mepps Musky killer? Those trailer hooks are a idea for these Ski's...If it was not for the trailers I'd have lost a bunch of fish..justa thought.

I am going to give it a try. I will let you know how it goes. I will probably take apart one of my tandium musky killers and copy it to start with them modify from there as necessary.

Is anyone working with bigger blades for better cast ability? I've got a collection of various sizes of fluted blades
that I'm looking at working with but not trying to create a giant hairball.

I have been using #6 French blades but I am planning on using some larger blades of multiple types for more flash and vibration. I just need to order some.

Found this site...might be good http://www.monsterlures.net/index.php Good Luck, Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

that site has some cool lures. I could get some good ideas from it. I have some brown horse hair that my buddy just gave me so I am going to make another one. I can't wait to give them a try.

I am new to this site but have been pouring jigs for a long time. Here is a web site that will help most anglers that want to pour and make their own baits. www.tackleunderground.com I have never seen a Tiger in in real life since I live in Hesperia California. My son lives in Bonney Lake WA and I will be fishing Tapp Lake this summer. Tight lines!

Well hey if either one of you guys want to hook up Jig-guy. I spent about 250 hours on Tapps last year. I'd be happy to show you around and get you on or over a fish. And Frank, I'm planning on heading that way in May to hit Silver and Newman. Never fished Newman. Maybe we could fish it. And get me to buy some of those hand made bucks? I'll be spending some time out there for the next four years. My youngest daughter earned a scholarship at Eastern.(starting this next fall) So I'll hit you up or let me know when the ice is out and I'll be there...Todd
