I am going to have to pass. The better half informed me that we will be going to Yakina for a few days before Christmas, and those seem to be it. Anyway, have a good time, and I will just have to sell a few of those LC and Team Daiwa baits on the classifieds.....

I think a wish list is hard to fill and then who gets who and buys what?Perhaps if everyone who brings a wrapped gift around to 20 buck range gets a ticket.Turn the ticket in and get a gift in return. That way it is more anonymous(sp) then you wont get 3 people buying a special gift for a special person.I hope this makes sense.Im in need of nothing really special so anything is cool by me.JMO.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I think what we're trying 2 accomplish for all that are interested in this is instead of spending $20.00 on something for another and have it be a suprise why not fill the wish list that they post,..this way everyone will receive something that they really want,..and besides not all of the members are Bassers,..some might want gear for another type of species,..LMK if this dosen't make sense and Trav and I will act accordingly,..also we kicked around the Idea of maybe meeting @ a local Bowling Alley,..drinks, atmosphere, bowling, food etc.,..but we need feedback! We'll draw numbers 2 see who buys for who! The #'s will be given according 2 the posoition that the member originally replied,..ie-I posted 1st so I'll be #1,..and so on!

Bowling alley sounds good, I know it will be freezing but thought I'd mention it anyway for feedback.
Fivemile Lake in Federal Way has several large covered areas and decent fishing. Just an idea,I know the fishing
would be tough. Still trying to figure out what I want,I'm more eager to meet more Wa Lakes members.

Lake Boren and Beaver lake have large covered campfire areas if so wanted.Yes it will be cold but then arent we all fisherpeople and or hunters?Bowling alley is cool.Im game just about anywhere.Weather could be a factor for those who come from a distance aways .Like Beaver lake is nice you must do a large hill to get there almost from any direction.Bowling alley is nice cuz they are usually easy to get to.It should be somewhere resonably priced because we will all need to put in on a rented area.If that is the case maybe we should think about a community bldg, ie...Lakewood Club or Mt Baker Clubhouse both in Seattle.Joe will know these places I mentioned.

Ralphy,..not sure where other members stand on this,..but me personally,..I would rather meet somewhere like a Bowling Alley for instance than be concerned about putting my boat in the water and hoping everyone else has a back seat 2,..let's keep it simple and meet and exchange gifts,..I can't emphasize enough that the "Wish-List" needs 2 be put in on everyones reply that wants 2 be involved,..this is a must so that we can get everyone on the same page with this,..also this will ensure that people get EXACTLY what they ask for! LMK,..feedback! We don't have 2 rent anything Ralphy,..just walk in and let them know we want some Lanes!

Is it possible to have a second meeting on the east side for all members who are over this way? Same gift deal, same food donation (would double the contribution  ) I cant be the only one who cant make the drive that thinks this is a great idea. Whos in?

Sounds good for the Eastsiders Jsmooth,..just start another thread and see what happens! This way the 2 threads won't overlap eachother!

So have the details been laid out? Holiday season is upon us!
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.
