RE:green lake muskys
I would not bother trying to catch tiger muskies in Green Lake. The lake was first (and only) stocked in 2000 with 147 tiger muskies. Due to fishing, natural causes, and a carp eradication project, it is highly unlikely that there are any tiger muskies left.

This question comes up about once a year. The details are in another forum thread someplace, but awhile back I emailed around to the WDFW and Friends Of Greenlake Group and the short answer is:
Unless someone put some in there illegally, or they are the longest living Muskie ever. There are no longer Muskie in Greenlake and there is no plans to put any more in there.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Patrick,
The Green lake muskie desire is an age old desire that comes up every so often. Do some googling about the year they planted them and you will see that it has been quite awhile, and very few as was said. Nobody ever talks about seeing them anymore,, and if you have a huge hit on your rod,, it's a carp.:cyclopsan

Hey kid,
Go out there and give it a try. Thats all you can do. It'll help you understand the 10,000 cast thing. Plus it'll build up your strength for the spring. Just because no one has caught one doesn't mean they are not there. They were put in the lake by the WDFW.They or it could be plenty big by now.Good luck kid!!

As it's unlikely Green Lake still has any tiger muskies, it probably doesn't make any difference where you fish.fishingboy wrote:does anbody know good ares in green lake to catch the muskies? (like what docks)?

RE:green lake muskys
Anyone have a fish cam, and boats greenlake?
It would probably make the news if a monster was lurking in there. I think it would be cool if a couple turned up in Greenlake or Fazon after all this time.

Due to the current economic situation and the rise and fall of the real estate market,it would appear the the remaining
tigers of Green Lake have vacated the premesis and their ware abouts are unknown

You're right Kevin, those inner-city docks are some of the most expensive. Therefore, the muskies have moved to some little lake by Bonney Lake, some reservoirs on the Lewis and Cowlitz Rivers, and the real thrill seekers moved to the east side of the state to enjoy the balmy days of winter! Even though many muskie families were split up in the migration, they stay in touch, very effectively, sending notes by carrier salmon!kevinb wrote:Due to the current economic situation and the rise and fall of the real estate market,it would appear the the remaining
