Has anyone been there this week? Does anyone know if they've planted the fish? I have a guy who's new to fishing that would love to try on these guys.

Hey Mike,
You didn't miss much.
I just heard through the grape vine that the trout stock happened this afternoon. Anyone know if that is true?

Can't confirm but you'll know REAL fast if it does get planted. Suddenly that lake will be PACKED and people will start talking on internet forums.....

We're planning on Tuesday morning. My boat is still on my car though, I might go in alone tomorrow just to see. Haven't decided yet (not sure what to do with the fish while I'm at work plus can't find my knifes).

Look for the fat guy in the white, inflatable with the Boston Whaler logo, and driving the beat-up white Toyota Pick-Up.

( This is tentative, depending on the overnight weather in the Oregon Cascades. )

I went by today and turned right around and left. Fishing for me is a way to releive stress, and upon seeing a 3 boat line at the launch, and cars parked all the way out to the main street, figured it was not the way I wanted to spend my sunday. I've never seen so many people at that launch, even during the summer when the weather was nice. You would think it was the only lake in the city with fish in it.

The fishing is spotty? Of coarse it is spotty, it is November. The same thing happened last year at Beaver and the fish were not right there every cast like you would expect for recently planted fish. The water is just to cold.

I would be out there mainly trying for holdovers if it were not for the crowds of "put and take" fisherman. I am not saying that any of you are these people or that it is a bad thing, but I get really irritated at the people who are not dedicated fisherman and only come to a lake at any indication of a good stocking in order to rape it of it's fish.

Good luck to you if you can handle these seasonal fisherman for a couple of 2-5lb turds.
